I need help pierce the plastic?
So I really this stupid problem ... We have a toilet seat standard size in some form of hard plastic with a smooth surface, feel to it. is the same plastic used to clipboard memory. There are a few vintage pieces and dollar bills inside that we would leave. How can we crack this thing open without damaging too? It Lucite is plastic. "These are" imitation "coins and bills (once you leave, you will see this is just one piece Currency / Bill on one side) "Enjoy it, pretty sure they are real, it is clear plastic so that the two sides are visible. You can even see the ridges on the edges.
This link gives some good suggestions. I think I would try the freezer and a blanket first, then maybe acetone. Acetone does not interfere with the money if it is used sparingly and for short periods of time with rinsing and drying thereafter. I hope that helps.
