I have an old biscuit tin with a vase of roses by this artist. The tin has a sticker that says Gray Dunn & Co. Ltd. Glasgow

More likely, there is an auction catalog which mention a a pastel on cardboard of a 'vase of flowers' by an artist of the name Gaston Albert Lavrilier.
