What is servical spine? Why my left hand ring is paining and become lathergic? What's the solution of it?
I have pain in my left hand. Pain spread from the upper side of the hand to the lower side. Recently I am filling that my ring finger of the left become lathergic and it's sensation is becoming down. I visited to a doctor . He suggested me that is due to the problem of servical spine. He give me pain killer and a tablet named Tolperisone hydrochloride 50mg. Any of you have good suggestion for me.
Where to start? Lets do the spine first. It is divided into four sections. The top (head to shoulders is called CERVICAL. There are eight vertebrae(bones) and discs (c-1 to c-8). The next section is called Thoracic, twelve vertebrae and discs. From your shoulder to your waist (t-1 to t-12). Next is the Lumbar. Five vertebrae and discs (l-1 to l-5). Next the pain you are having in your left hand. You didn't mention any other symptoms that would lead me to think you have any spine problem. What you describe sounds more like Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. This is a pain that is started by repetitive motions with your hand. Here is a place to find out more

Third. The Tolperisone hydrochloride 50mg the doctor prescribed for you is actually a muscle relaxant. It does help relieve tightness in your nerves. Be sure to read the Label and follow the directions and call the doctor if you notice anything strange. Don't drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
Without actually being able to ask you some direct questions like other symptoms, age, occupation, and a few more. I am not saying your doctor is wrong but a spine problem would not be my first guess. Hope this helps.pp
