What is the new green white checker rule in nascar?
I am sure this question has been asked many times, but I have been away and am asking it now because I am still confused with it.
Please put in Laymans terms for me the new green white checker rule I have been hearing about.
If another yellow flag happens before the leader gets the white flag, they will do it again just like before. This year, they will try it up to 3 times. After that, the race will be over even if a caution happens.
If the first place person gets onto the last lap by seeing the white flag, then the race will be over if a crash happens at that point.
