Crows signifying Death?
I woke up at noon and there was a big black crow flying around my house. There were no open windows, no open doors, or any other way it could've gotten inside. The last person to leave my house was my brother and the crow didn't come in then. Soon after getting up the crow and my dog, who is a toy poodle, started fighting. The crow kept screeching and swirling around my dog, and he kept barking and jumping at it. On the floor in the kitchen was shattered glass where the crow had broken a vase that had a rose and, what i think was, a daisy in it. He also ate some cookies....
I told someone about this and they said a crow was a sign of death and a bad omen, now i am kind of scared.
Is a crow a bad omen? What does a crows unexplained appearance signify specifically? Any additional information would be helpful.

It's supposed to be a myth, old wives tale sort of thing.
Though I've had some experience with the bad omen thing. I had a dream that a crow died (sparing the details) and a week or so later, a ton of bad stuff happened. My brother was involved in a car crash and almost died, a couple of kids died in it too, relationships with my best mates ended after a long slant of tension, SWINE FLU attacked (lmao), and my relationship with my mother has practically ended.
I know, sucks, don't it? Though no worries! I'm working to repair the damage that fecking crow did. xD
