Easter Visitors?
Easter, a couple of my youngest son's friends stopped by. I live in another state and they had to pass by here to get home.
They brought a dozen roses, and I was thrilled!!
BUT then I understood the real reason for stopping!!
I have a health condition, and my kids and most of the small town we lived in, knew I take alot of medications. I guess my son asked his friends to stop by and con my pain medications off of me. My son even called his friends cell phone "twice" while they were here, and didn't even bother talking to ME!!
I wanted to flip out!!! I wanted to take those flowers and vase and throw them from my balconey and smash it through their windshield!!
This has caused me to cry all yesterday and today, I can't stop thinking about how mad this stunt has made me! Makes me want to run away and hide where NO ONE knows me!!
I'm too big of a wuss to even tell my son off!
Any advice??
This is the lowest of low lifes! I hope you didn't give them anything because if you did you could be starting a snowball!
The best way to avoid this is to tell them that you have been taken off of all narcotic pain meds. These type of people will not stop at trying to con them off of you - they may actually steal them from you so do be very careful who knows you have these!
DOn't bother telling your son off..it is a waste of time. He obviously doesn't care if he will take meds away from a sick person ...especially his mother!
