What is the best week of the colorful leaves of autumn?
We are planning a autumn wedding. The date we chose is Oct. 09th 2009, but we want to make sure that we will have the most beautiful autumn wedding, when the leaves are bright red, orange and yellow.
We live in Hamilton, NJ.
Can someone have an idea if the date we chose is the perfect one?

I always wanted to visit the Adirondacks (I'm from Ohio) at the beginning of October because that's about the time the leaves were optimal for a few years of data they had accumulated.
To be sure, call a local wedding planner! If they don't know these things and they plan weddings in New England they shouldn't be planning...
